Description

The thread is 5/16-18 (UNC). The finish is fully Manganese Parkerized so that even when welded to your Jeep body the inner surfaces will never rust and the thread is protected for many years to come. Zinc plating of these nuts is not correct for WWII vehicles. These captive nuts are also used on the GPA around the sides of the hull to accept the deck screws.
